She married Craig in 1987, the same year she stopped modelling. Craig at the time had a few television credits to his name and was a year away from his feature film debut alongside Denzel Washington in For Queen and Country (1988).

Speaking to the Daily Mirror in March 2001, Craig addressed his home life directly:

“I’ve always wanted the security of a marriage and family. Thankfully, I’ve got that kind of support in my life.”

He was referring to Kellick, though he did not name her in the quote.

She has not taken Craig’s surname, and that detail runs through every press record involving her without exception. In the early 1990s, the family moved to the United States. The Independent reported in September 2023 that Craig made the move to Hollywood with “his wife, model Elke Kellick, and their two young children in tow.” Jack was around four or five at the time. Luke was still a toddler.

Craig landed the role of villain Delmar in Cliffhanger (1993) within months of arriving. The family returned to England at some point before Craig joined EastEnders in June 1999. By March 2001, a Daily Mirror interview placed them settled in Kent, with sons Jack, then 13, and Luke, then 10.

Both sons followed their father into film, though neither acts. Jack Fairbrass served as executive producer on London Heist (2015) and Breakdown (2016, Soda Pictures), both starring Craig.
