Miami Dolphins vs Atlanta Falcons Match Player Stats (Oct 26, 2025)

Miami had lost three straight going into Atlanta. Tua Tagovailoa carried 10 interceptions on the season, tied for the most in the NFL, and woke up that Sunday morning with one eye swollen shut. The Dolphins won 34-10.

Tagovailoa completed 20 of 26 passes for 205 yards and four touchdowns at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, finishing without a turnover for the first time in three weeks. He wore a visor for the first time since high school after the team’s medical staff treated a severe eye infection with antibiotics that morning.

Atlanta started Kirk Cousins in place of Michael Penix Jr., who sat out with a bone bruise on his left knee — Cousins’ first start since December 16, 2024. The Falcons also played without wide receiver Drake London (hip), edge rusher Zach Harrison (knee), rookie linebacker Jalon Walker (groin), and cornerback Billy Bowman Jr. (hamstring). Miami outgained Atlanta 338 to 213, held Bijan Robinson to 25 rushing yards and a lost fumble, and ran 37:58 off the clock.

Atlanta inactives before kickoff: Michael Penix Jr. (knee), Drake London (hip), Zach Harrison (knee), Jalon Walker (groun), Billy Bowman Jr. (hamstring). Divine Deablo (forearm) was placed on the reserve/injured list the day prior.

Miami left Atlanta at 2-6. The win ended a three-game skid that bottomed out the week before in Cleveland, where Tagovailoa threw three interceptions and was pulled in the fourth quarter for rookie Quinn Ewers in a 31-6 loss. The Atlanta performance stood as the statistical high point of Miami’s 2025 season.

It did not last. Four days later, on Thursday Night Football at Hard Rock Stadium, Baltimore beat the Dolphins 28-6. Tagovailoa threw his 11th interception of the year. Miami’s record fell to 2-7.
