Injury Report

Tennessee Titans: NT T’Vondre Sweat did not play after having his tonsils removed. ILB Anfernee Orji also missed the game with a knee injury sustained during joint practice on August 7, 2025.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: RB Rachaad White (groin) and WR Dennis Houston (groin) both left the game in the first quarter and did not return.

The full box score from this Titans-Buccaneers preseason opener tells the story of a Tampa Bay side that was simply better across every department for 60 minutes. The Buccaneers ran the ball 41 times for 178 yards, held possession for nearly 35 minutes, and collected three turnovers to Tennessee’s one. Ward’s 89.1 passer rating across eight attempts represented the cleanest stat line of any Tennessee quarterback on the night, but the ground reality was a Titans offence that managed 201 total yards and struggled to establish anything after he came off. For a game remembered as Ward’s professional debut, the numbers say it was Trask’s night.
