Pittsburgh held on to win 24-21 over Minnesota at Croke Park on September 28, 2025, surviving a fourth-quarter rally that wiped out an 18-point Steelers lead in under eight minutes. The game was the NFL’s first regular-season contest in Ireland, played before 74,512 at Croke Park.
Kenneth Gainwell ran 19 times for 99 yards and two touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers completed 18 of 22 passes for 200 yards with no turnovers and a 119.7 passer rating. Carson Wentz, making his second consecutive start for injured J.J. McCarthy, went 30 for 46 for 350 yards and two fourth-quarter scores but threw two interceptions and absorbed six sacks for 48 yards in losses. Jordan Addison, playing his first game of the 2025 season after a three-game suspension, caught four passes for 114 yards, including an 81-yard reception in the final two minutes that set up the Vikings’ last score. Wentz’s pass on fourth-and-17 from the Minnesota 32 with 13 seconds remaining fell incomplete, ending the rally.
