Las Vegas Raiders vs New England Patriots Match Player Stats (Sep 7, 2025)

Geno Smith threw for 362 yards in his Raiders debut, the most by a Las Vegas quarterback in a single game since at least 1991, as the Silver and Black came back from a halftime deficit to beat the New England Patriots 20-13 at Gillette Stadium on September 7, 2025. The Raiders trailed 10-7 at the break, then outscored New England 13-3 in the second half after Isaiah Pola-Mao’s third-quarter interception of Drake Maye triggered a run of three consecutive scoring drives. Rookie Ashton Jeanty punched in his first NFL touchdown to put Las Vegas in front for good, and two Daniel Carlson field goals sealed Pete Carroll’s first win as Raiders head coach.

Smith’s 362 passing yards were backed by nine completions of 20 or more yards, tied for the most in his career and the highest total in a single game by a Raiders quarterback since at least 1991. Brock Bowers exited in the fourth quarter with what was later confirmed as a PCL injury and bone bruise, having recorded five catches for 103 yards before leaving. On the other side, New England’s 4-for-14 conversion rate on third down and 60 rushing yards on 18 carries left Vrabel with clear answers to chase heading into a Week 2 road trip to Miami — both results now part of a 2025 season already concluded.
