Kansas City’s 0–2 start marked the first time since 2014 the franchise had dropped its opening two games, and it was their first home loss at Arrowhead since December 25, 2023. Philadelphia, meanwhile, had now won seven straight and stood at 17–1 across their previous 18 games.
