Raw Nutrition Deal Completed April 2025
Bumstead’s supplement company Raw Nutrition partnered with The Quality Group in April 2025. The German sports nutrition business, backed by private equity firm CVC Capital Partners, acquired a majority stake in Raw Nutrition. The transaction gave Bumstead and co-founder Dom Iacovone co-ownership positions in The Quality Group.
Inc. 5000 named Raw Nutrition the fastest-growing consumer packaged goods company in America for 2024. The brand won Brand of the Year awards from both GNC and The Vitamin Shoppe before the partnership.
Bumstead joined Raw Nutrition as a co-owner in 2021. The company launched in 2019 and now has European distribution infrastructure through The Quality Group’s networks.
Dom Iacovone told Athletech News in June 2025 that 2026 and 2027 would bring significant growth, with a potential public offering around 2027. The partnership didn’t disclose financial terms.
Gymshark Ownership Announced September 2024
Bumstead returned to Gymshark in September 2024 as both athlete and part-owner. The British fitness apparel company, valued above £1 billion after US private equity firm General Atlantic purchased a 21% stake in 2020, didn’t disclose his ownership percentage.
He previously worked with Gymshark from 2018 to 2022. The new arrangement includes equity.
Gymshark reported £556.2 million in revenue for its most recent financial year. Chief brand officer Noel Mack said in September: “You can’t make a claim like that, and not be represented by the most iconic gym-goer in the world.”
BUM Energy Enters Walmart and Target This Month
BUM Energy, launched under Raw Nutrition in 2023, begins distribution through Walmart and Target in February 2026. The drink reached the top 50 best-selling energy drinks in America within two years while sold exclusively through specialty retailers including GNC, Sam’s Club, and The Vitamin Shoppe.
The formula contains 112mg of natural caffeine and 250mg of Cognizin citicoline with zero sugar.
Other Business Holdings
Bumstead owns the STNDRD training app, which has over 100,000 paying subscribers. The app provides workout programs and nutrition plans through monthly or annual subscriptions.
RAW Athletic Club, his gym in Port St. Lucie, Florida, opened in May 2024. The facility includes a barber, smoothie bar, restaurant, and retail space for Raw Nutrition products.
His Cbum Fitness apparel brand operates separately from these ventures.
Bumstead markets all five businesses through his social media platforms. His Instagram account has 25.8 million followers, his YouTube channel has 4.3 million subscribers, and his TikTok has 4.7 million followers. His social media following grew by 73,000 in January 2026 alone.

Bumstead finished second at Mr Olympia in 2017 and 2018, earning $8,000 each year. His first championship in 2019 paid $30,000, as did his 2020 win. Prize money increased to $50,000 annually for his victories from 2021 through 2024.
